Join Steve England on a family fossil foray in Midsomer Norton Town Park and learn how the rocks were formed, look at the fossils within the rocks, and the prehistoric features that tell a fascinating story.

We will be meeting at the entrance to Midsomer Norton Town Park at 10:00am and fossil hunting until 12:30 pm.

You must book in advance to attend this session.

What to Bring?

Your hammer, chisel and goggles, if you have available. There will be a few to share for those who don’t.

Please wear sturdy footwear and gloves and bring a notepad, pen and camera to record your findings!

A parent or guardian or must be present at all times for children under 18 years of age.
