Come and learn about foraging and wildlife alongside rivers and celebrate the Festival of Nature 2025 with a walk exploring Snails Brook in Waterside Valley. Learn the history, wildlife and geology with friends, family and local residents in the Somer Valley, led by multi-award winning conservation educator and naturalist Steve England.

The footpaths are on uneven grass, and the site can be muddy in places so wellies or walking shoes are recommended.

Suitable for all ages, but we ask that children are accompanied and supervised by parents or guardians at all times.

On-street parking is available along Waterford Park road, but please be mindful and respectful to residents when you park.
