Join us for a fun and educational fungal adventure at Waterside Valley, Radstock. This event is perfect for beginners who want to learn more about mushrooms and fungi.

During the walk our expert guide, Leah Apostolou, will teach you how to identify different types of fungi. She will also share fascinating facts about their unique characteristics. You’ll get the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings of Waterside Valley and Haydon Batch whilst discovering the hidden world of mushrooms.

No prior knowledge is required. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a curious explorer, or simply looking for a unique experience, this event is for you.

Booking for this walk is essential as spaces are limited.

Meeting outside Swallow’s Cafe, Radstock, we will be walking along Waterside Valley and into the Haydon Batch woodlands. Free parking is available at Church Street Carpark, Radstock, but please bus, walk or cycle if possible.

This will be an easy paced walk for approximately 2 miles, on slightly uneven and muddy terrain.

We will return to Swallow’s Cafe for 12:00pm.
