Fossil Hunting on Haydon Batch

Join Steve England on a fossil foray on Haydon Batch and learn how the rocks were formed, look at the fossils within the rocks, and the prehistoric features that tell a fascinating story.
We will be meeting at Haydon Que Club at 10:30 am and fossil hunting until 13:00 pm.
You must book in advance to attend this session.

What to Bring?
Your hammer, chisel and goggles, if you have available. There will be a few to share for those who don’t.
Please wear sturdy footwear and gloves and bring a notepad, pen and camera to record your findings!
You are welcome to bring a picnic and refreshments to this event, take a break from the fossil hunting and enjoy the surroundings!
