Nature Walk in Waterside Valley

Summary
Join Somer Valley Rediscovered Project Manager on a Nature Walk in Waterside Valley, hear about the nature recovery work taking place!
Somer Valley Rediscovered has been supporting Westfield Parish Council in the management of Waterside Valley for nature recovery and community access.
Join the project manager, Miriam Woolnough, for a site walk and talk, where she will identify the nature you can see, why we are managing the site for wildlife (including the river!) and show you the access improvements being made!
This walk is part of the Radstock Town Fayre, a family friendly outdoor arts event.
Facilities (shops, cafes, toilets and public transport) are within easy reach in Radstock. The walk will stop and look at wildlife, and so is taken at a gentle pace and there are plenty of opportunities to rest.
Please note:
The walk is 30 minutes long
The walk is mostly flat but there are a couple of slopes
The walk will start and end at the Somer Valley Rediscovered Gazebo, St Nicholas Church Field, Radstock, BA3 3QQ. The What3Words location is: ///basic.assures.deflated
Parking is available at Church Street Carpark
