River Detectives – Flood Watch volunteer online information & training event

Jacob McAdie from Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART) will introduce the River Detectives- Flood Watch volunteer role. We’ll share how this citizen science role fits into the wider goals of the Somer Valley Rediscovered Green Spaces project and Bristol Avon Rivers Trust in supporting habitats, river health and the local community.

This online training will help River Detectives-Flood Watch volunteers to learn more and to gain confidence in recording observations of our local watercourses. You’ll be introduced to the survey form, helpful training materials and the BART online platform.
