SUMMARY:Tai Chi 8-Week Course
DESCRIPTION:An 8-week beginner’s Tai Chi course for people interested in trying something new! Taking place outside on Haydon Batch\, Radstock. This course is led by an experienced Tai Chi instructor\, Bruce. \nAll abilities are welcome. \nBruce will be teaching the ‘Ba Men’ (which translates as 8 Gates). This is a short sequence of 8 moves which train the basic principles or energies of Tai Chi. \nThe moves of the Ba Men are fairly easy to learn – at the start\, as one learns the movements the practice is gentle\, opening the joints\, building a more connected body etc but it can also be practised in a way that’s much harder and while one is still moving slowly it provides much more of a workout – so it can be tailored to the needs of those attending without the need to teach different things to different people. \nThis class will be taking place outside\, on top of Haydon Batch with beautiful views of the Somer Valley to look out upon whilst practising. \nWe will be meeting outside the Haydon Que Club\, Radstock. \nThis class is for adults only. \nClass dates; \nFriday 7th June \nFriday 14th June \nFriday 21st June \nFriday 28th June \nFriday 5th July \nFriday 12th July \nFriday 19th July \nFriday 26th July \nPlease contact phoebe_webster@bathnes.gov.uk if you have any questions or accessibility needs.

If early childhood includes good quality musical experiences children will reap the rewards throughout their childhood and beyond. \nEach workshop is bursting with creative ideas to encourage children to be musical and partake in group activities\, igniting their creative spark and building confidence. Willow uses rhythm\, rhyme\, repetition\, and interactive play to nurture learning. \nWorkshops typically include a mixture of children’s classics and original Sing-a-ling songs accompanied by guitar and djembe drum. Sensory props\, puppets\, and parachute play weave their way through the workshop\, providing varied and engaging musical experiences. \nPlease contact phoebe_webster@bathnes.gov.uk if you require further information or have any questions.

SUMMARY:Tai Chi Taster Class
DESCRIPTION:A taster introductory session to Tai-Chi led by Bruce our experienced instructor. \nThis taster is a precursor to our 8-week course starting on Friday the 7th of June. You are welcome to come along to this taster session and the 8-week course\, or just come along to the taster to see what Tai Chi is like. \nAll abilities are welcome. \nAs an introduction to Tai-Chi\, he will be teaching the ‘Ba Men’ (which translates as 8 Gates). \nThis class is for adults only. \nPlease contact phoebe_webster@bathnes.gov.uk if you have any questions or accessibility needs.
