DESCRIPTION:Join Steve England on a family fossil foray in Midsomer Norton Town Park and learn how the rocks were formed\, look at the fossils within the rocks\, and the prehistoric features that tell a fascinating story. \nWe will be meeting at the entrance to Midsomer Norton Town Park at 10:00am and fossil hunting until 12:30 pm. \nYou must book in advance to attend this session. \nWhat to Bring?\nYour hammer\, chisel and goggles\, if you have available. There will be a few to share for those who don’t. \nPlease wear sturdy footwear and gloves and bring a notepad\, pen and camera to record your findings! \nA parent or guardian or must be present at all times for children under 18 years of age. \nDetails\nDate: Sunday 9th August \nTime: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nThere is free parking for 2hours at South Road Car Park in Midsomer Norton\, but please walk\, bus or cycle where possible.
