DESCRIPTION:Forest Bathing 3-Week Course \nJoin us for a rejuvenating Forest Bathing experience at the beautiful Silver Street Nature Reserve in Midsomer Norton. Over the course of five weeks\, you’ll learn mindfulness techniques\, breathing exercises\, and gentle movement to help you unwind and recharge. No prior experience necessary\, just bring an open mind and a willingness to learn. \nWhat is Forest Bathing? \nForest bathing\, also known as shinrin-yoku\, isa Japanese practice that involves slowing down and immersing oneself in the forest atmosphere to promote relaxation and well-being. It encourages mindful observation of nature through all five senses and can help reduce stress\, improve mood\, and boost the immune system. \nMaxine will be guiding this course. \nMeeting: Entrance to the Midsomer Norton Cricket Club\, Withies Lane\, BA3 2JE \nCourse dates: \n\nFriday 29th August\nFriday 5th September\nFriday 12th September\nFriday 19th September\nFriday 26th September\n\nTimings: 11:30 – 13:30 \nSuitable for adults 18+ years of age. \nPlease book on ticket per person.
